Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. By using our website and services, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts for any disputes or claims arising out of or related to these terms and conditions.

Booking Tickets

Tickets can be booked at:

Pick-up point of shuttle (if space is available)
Online

Tickets are not transferable and are valid only for the persons to whom they are issued and for the date and time shown.

It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that the correct information is reflected on the ticket.

If any payments are outstanding at the time of arrival at the drop-off point, luggage will be held until payment has been received.

When travelling to an airport destination, please allow:

3 hours for international flights
2 hours for domestic flights

Tickets may be changed up to 4 hours prior to departure.

Any changes (time, date, flight delay, doctor’s letter, or name change) will result in:

A replacement ticket
An admin fee of R200 per change

Passengers may not break their journey unless separate tickets are issued for each leg.

Any excess funds will be applied to admin fees and the remaining balance will be forfeited.

No payment receipt no access to the Schuttle

Cancellation Policy

Cancel 24+ hours before departure → 30% of ticket price will be deducted
Once a ticket has been moved → it cannot be cancelled
Cancellation within 24 hours → No refund
Once a refund is processed → it cannot be reversed
No-show / failure to cancel → No refund

Departure Times

Passengers must arrive 30 minutes before departure time.

Any seat not filled 5 minutes before departure may be sold to standby passengers.

If you are not on the bus at departure time → you forfeit your ticket.

If a passenger with an unpaid ticket is not present 20 minutes before departure, Imberbe Tours may depart without them.

Baggage Allowance

Each fare-paying passenger may bring (at own risk):

2 suitcases
Maximum size: 80cm × 60cm × 30cm
Maximum combined weight: 30kg

Additional luggage:

Allowed only by prior arrangement
Subject to additional fees

Not allowed:

Bodyboards
Skateboards
Surfboards
Bicycles

Other conditions:

Large items must go in the luggage compartment
Passenger must load their own luggage
No unaccompanied luggage allowed

Imberbe Tours is not responsible for:

Loss or damage to luggage or personal items

Passenger liability insurance applies only in cases where Imberbe Tours is at fault.

Hand luggage must fit on your lap. No backpacks allowed inside the bus.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited on or near all coaches, including:

Tobacco
Electronic devices (vapes)

Pets

No animals are allowed on board, except:

Certified guide dogs accompanying blind passengers

Unaccompanied Children

No children under 12 years may travel alone
Children 3 years and younger must be in a car seat (as required by law)
Car seats are provided free of charge (prior arrangement required)
Children 3 years and younger receive a 20% discount

General

Imberbe Tours will make every effort to adhere to schedules, but services may be affected by:

Road conditions
Weather
Other unforeseen circumstances

No liability will be accepted for delays or resulting costs.

Connections:

Efforts are made to ensure smooth connections
No liability for missed connections

Additional terms:

Coach allocations may change without notice
Passengers may not travel between depots or parking areas
Services may be cancelled without notice
No liability for losses due to cancellations

The company:

Is only liable where it is at fault
Reserves the right to refuse service
May refuse passengers who are intoxicated
May prohibit alcohol consumption on board
